Unworthy to serve...

The other day I was pondering some things and where I have been. Then I had a conversation with a student on Wednesday Night about some of the things that that student was dealing with. And through this conversation, I began to reflect on what God has brought me through and the things that I have done. And I began to get frustrated, ashamed, and profoundly convicted.

It was in this moment that I was reminded about the Grace that I have already accepted from the Almighty Creator and Savior of my life. And I was overcome with the truth of the matter that Jesus has taken the price for my sin. The Lamb has already been slain! I am free!

¹My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. ²He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:1-2
