Life Update and an Ultimate End

So the Tigs lost last night in a fashion that just really describes the entire second half of the season. It seems that they just couldn't get over the hump. And ultimately, the Twins could, and did, making them the American League Central Division Champs. Congrats. Go beat the Yanks in their ridiculously expensive stadium. In other words, I am now just a baseball fan and have really no team to cheer for, which is probably good for my spiritual life among other things. :)

In other news, my life is filled with blessing from God as I work to see Him move in the hearts of students. The Creator of the Universe is moving in Nappanee, IN and I can't wait to see what all is going to come of the stirrings going on in students. If you have never been apart of something bigger than yourself, then this is the time to join us! Here are some of the upcoming Highlights that you need to be aware of!

Famous 3:16s TONIGHT- So the end of the first series of the year comes to a close tonight as Derry brings us the message out of John 3:16. We will venture into what it means to understand God's part and Our part when it comes to reaching someone for Christ. Praying for strong convictions tonight!

Hayride Outreach- If you're a student in our ministry, remember that this night is not about you. This night is about those of your friends that don't know Jesus or maybe are just struggling with a belief in Jesus. Be sure to bring them. Everyone that reads this should take some time to stop and pray that this night would be impactful and that students would come to know the only one who saves! This has the potential to change people's lives. We have seen it happen before. Now, it's time to see what our students are made of when it comes to sharing Jesus with their lost friends.

Kids In Need Silent Auction- This year all proceeds from our Silent Auction will benefit the African Gospel Church Kenya Baby Center. This has been a partner of NMC's for a number of years and we continue to send teams to Kenya to work on the grounds or just show love to the babies that are there. If you would like to get more information or send in an item to bid on, email silentauction@nmc1.org and we can get you more information!

5K.I.N.- This is going to be an event that you won't want to miss! There is going to be a competitive 5K run and a 1 Mile walk. This is going to be a great way that you can GAIN awareness and GIVE sacrificially to two causes that truly are helping kids in need. The race takes place on November 14 and you can get more information at www.helpingkidsinneed.com.
