So for the past week or so, I have been updating regularly, gut only because it was the same post for the PhillyGO blog. So, here comes a genuine blogpost.
The past week has absolutely fired me up, wrecked my lifestyle and mindset, and has given me so much perspective on so many topics that I cannot even begin to see all of the stuff that I have learned and seen. Overall, the presence of the LORD was absolutely amazing and revealed so many things to me as well as the students that came on the trip. I was so pumped about the way that God moved in all of us that it was crazy. Amazing.
This entire trip was based on helping students know what it means to be spiritually reproducing by having them engage people that they don't know and probably won't ever see again and share the hope that they have with them. In doing this, the hope is that the students would gain confidence in their ability to be bold and courageous for the LORD and His plans and voices that they would be willing and able to share Christ and His Voice to their friends and family that either don't know the LORD or haven't had an accurate portrayal of that to them.
The thing about a trip like this is that everyone on the trip is forced, really, to engage the Spirit of God and see the people around them in a majorly different light. In doing this, we allow the Spirit of God to run into us and through our veins and we have a more intimate connection with Him and those on our team. This was especially evident on Tuesday as depicted by this blogpost from the PhillyGO website.
What was so amazing was how God showed me, a leader on a trip, His heart and His Will for my life on this trip, but also in this season of life. I am where I am because of His Power and His Plan. He is so amazing!
And so now begins the home stuff.
Accountability.
Rejection.
Apathy.
Letters going to friends.
Family.
Emotional Highs.
Spiritual Highs.
Dealing with the Realities of Life.
If you have a second. Send up a prayer for this team as they begin their decent into real life and recognizing God's next steps for them as they dive back into their "real world." Even more, pray that we, as leaders, can have the guiding steps and wisdom to help them down His path for their life. Trust me, it isn't easy at times. The amazing thing is the words that He always seems to give us in the most opportune times. May He continue to encourage and empower those that He wants to change the world.
To God be the Glory!
To see a generation set their eyes on Jesus and prayerfully serve Him and His Church.

Philly Here We Come!
Hey everybody!
Tonight is the night! I am leaving with 26 other comrades to head to the "City of Brotherly Love." I truly hope that is what we are able to experience and share a love that surpasses that of brothers.
Tonight we leave on our PhillyGO trip and I am asking you to join me in praying for our team as we launch into this journey of sharing The Good News to those that need to see it in action.
You can learn more about specific prayer requests here. I will be updating our website as well as my own as I have time. You can also follow me or the trip by typing follow loudcoke to 40404 or follow NMC_GO to the same number!
So pumped!
