Thursday Reflections on Wednesday

A late post, but needed as I process through what Derry shared on Wednesday. I was especially intrigued with how he laid out Backward What Ifs and Forward What Ifs.

It interests me because it relates so well to what holds us back from taking the next step in our relationships with Jesus. When we look back and ask "What If?" it doesn't necessarily pull us back into those times, but it doesn't allow us to push a certain term.

Reality is:

You can't go forward in the right direction if you're always looking backward.
