After returning from Haiti and hearing about some of the things that happened on our ChicaGO trip, Derry reminded me of this song as something that may be defining. He identified the line in the song, "I see a generation, rising up to take their place, with selfless faith, with selfless faith" as something that he saw taking place. I echo his comments, and take note of the next few lines. Here's a video of the song.
I want to see that generation step up to take their place. I wonder if we have a group of youth that are ready to do that. If they are, then my challenge to begin to be on our knees more, seeking God's face for our everyday lives, shouldn't be that difficult of a challenge.
